UI AccessAccess this extension through Flash News Line button on the FD24 category of the Insert Panel (Window > Insert). It is also accessible by selecting Insert > Media > Flash News Line (in Dreamweaver MX 2004, Dreamweaver 8, Dreamweaver CS3, Dreamweaver CS4 and Dreamweaver CS5), or Insert > Interactive Images > Flash News Line (in Dreamweaver MX). Inserting flash objectOpen Macromedia Dreamweaver, open document in which you want to place news line. Flash object can be inserted in page through the menu option "Insert -> Media ->Flash News Line" or in the Insert Bar. After you choose "Flash News Line" you will see a dialog window where you have to define the destination folder. In this folder will be copied files: NewsLine.swf, config.xml, news.xml. File config.xml is the configuration file and contains all available component settings. File news.xml contains the structure of news. You can change the paths to these files using FlashDevelopment24 Wizard. That’s all! In the design view of your web page you will see new Flash element. |
