Customizing the component

To adjust the component appearance and other parameters use Wizard. To do this click right mouse on the Flash Object in "Design view" than choose FlashDevelopment24 Wizard -> Flash Google Maps.

The Wizard looks like this:

• Marker
• Details panel
• Locations table

Key Map

On-default for testing is used a KEY for http://localhost

You need a key to activate your map. A single Maps API key is valid for a single "directory" or domain. See this FAQ (http://code.google.com/apis/maps/faq.html#keysystem) for more information. You must have a Google Account (http://www.google.com/accounts/) to get a Maps API key, and your API key will be connected to your Google Account.

Set flash object size

The flash object appears in your document window in "Design view". You need to set the flash object width and height (which appears in browser) by dragging the sizing handles or set width and height in the Properties.
